Refund Policy

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

At TradersCompanion, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. If you're not happy with our service for any reason, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or subscription renewal.

This policy applies to all subscription plans (Starter and Trader), whether billed monthly or yearly.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • Time limit — Your refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your payment date.
  • First-time buyers — The 7-day guarantee applies to your first purchase of each plan. If you cancel, get a refund, and later resubscribe, the guarantee applies again to that new subscription.
  • Good faith — Refunds are intended for users who genuinely found the service unsuitable. We reserve the right to refuse refunds if we detect abuse (e.g., repeated subscribe-cancel cycles).

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact support — Email us at support@traderscompanion.org with "Refund Request" in the subject line.
  2. Include details — Please provide:
    • Your account email address
    • Your subscription plan (Starter or Trader)
    • Date of purchase
    • Brief reason for the refund (optional, but helps us improve)
  3. Response time — We aim to process all refund requests within 2-3 business days.

4. Refund Processing

  • Payment method — Refunds will be issued to the original payment method you used (PayPal, credit card, etc.).
  • Processing time — Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
  • Account access — Upon issuing a refund, your subscription will be cancelled and your account will revert to the Free tier. Your data will remain accessible, but premium features will be locked.

5. Free Trials

If you sign up for a subscription with a free trial (typically 3 days), you will not be charged during the trial period. You can cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin, and the 7-day money-back guarantee will start from the date of your first payment (after the trial).

6. Annual Subscriptions

For yearly subscriptions, the 7-day guarantee applies to the full amount paid. If you request a refund within 7 days of your annual payment, you will receive a full refund.

After the 7-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent automatic renewal for the next year. You will retain access until the end of your billing period.

7. Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly subscriptions, you can request a refund within 7 days of any monthly payment.

If you cancel after the 7-day window, you will not receive a refund for the current month, but your subscription will not renew, and you will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

8. Exceptions

The following situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • After 7 days — Refund requests submitted more than 7 days after payment.
  • Account violations — If your account has been suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
  • Third-party services — We cannot refund charges made by third-party broker integrations or data providers.
  • Misuse — Accounts that show patterns of abuse (e.g., repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds).
